Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ShedBuddy, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What ShedBuddy does

ShedBuddy helps you plan and finish home projects with Buddy, an AI assistant, and builds an inventory of your tools and materials from photos of sheds, garages, and storage areas so it can answer questions about project readiness and item location. Detections and Buddy’s answers are generated with the help of AI providers (see our Privacy Policy for details); detections are provisional until you review and confirm them.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. See our Privacy Policy for how to delete your account and associated data.

Acceptable use

• Only upload photos you have the right to capture and share.
• Do not use the app to store or process content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.

Disclaimers

ShedBuddy’s readiness and retrieval answers are estimates based on your inventory and AI-assisted detection — they are not guarantees. You remain responsible for verifying you have what a project actually requires before starting it. The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

AI guidance (Buddy)

Buddy gives general guidance, not professional advice. You decide what to do and are responsible for your own work and safety. Where Buddy suggests considering a qualified professional, that is a suggestion you can take or leave; ShedBuddy does not inspect your home, verify conditions, or supervise any work you choose to carry out.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShedBuddy and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including inaccurate detections, readiness/retrieval answers, or AI guidance from Buddy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use ShedBuddy after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
